Locker Usage Regulation
Preamble
This Regulation defines the general conditions for the use of automatic lockers made available within the framework of the marketplace Nazaré.pt, financed by the Digital Commercial Neighborhoods Program of the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR). This service aims to provide a convenient and secure delivery solution for purchases made through the Marketplace Nazaré.pt, as well as offer users a temporary storage option for items. By using the lockers, users fully accept the terms of this Regulation.
1. Definitions
1.1 Nazaré: Digital marketplace platform managed by the Municipality of Nazaré.
1.2 Automatic lockers: Physical structures located ___________ for the delivery of orders purchased through the platform and for temporary storage of users’ personal items.
1.3 User: Person who makes a purchase through the Marketplace or who uses the lockers to store personal items.
1.4 Order: Items purchased on the Marketplace Nazaré.
1.5 Access Code: Unique code provided to the user for collecting their order or accessing the locker for storage.
2. Access and Registration
2.1 To use the lockers, the user must provide the requested data. By providing the data, they are agreeing to the Privacy and Data Protection Policy, which can be consulted on the Marketplace Nazaré.pt.
2.2 The user must provide correct and updated information at the time of purchase or locker reservation.
3. Service Operation
3.1 The lockers can be used for:
3.1.1 Delivery of orders purchased through the Marketplace Nazaré.pt.
3.2 Order Delivery: Once the order is deposited in the locker, the user will receive an SMS or email with an access code for collection.
3.3 The user will have a period of 2 (two) business days to proceed with order collection. After this period, the order will be collected by the seller.
3.4 If the order is not collected, the user must contact the seller on the Marketplace to reschedule delivery.
4. Locker Usage
4.1 The lockers have different sizes to accommodate various types of orders and personal items.
4.2 The user must ensure that orders are removed from the locker without causing damage to the structure.
4.3 If the seller detects any problem with the locker, such as malfunctions or access difficulties, they must immediately inform the support team through the contact provided on the Marketplace.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 The use of lockers for order collection is free during the initial operation period.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1 The user is responsible for providing correct information during purchase or locker reservation and ensuring order collection.
6.2 The locker access code is personal and non-transferable. The user must ensure its confidentiality.
6.3 In case of loss or improper use of the access code, the user must contact Marketplace support immediately.
7. Nazaré’s Responsibility
7.1 Nazaré guarantees the proper functioning of the lockers, but is not responsible for damages, losses or misplacement of orders.
7.2 Nazaré will not be responsible for delays in order delivery resulting from causes beyond its control, including force majeure, strikes or logistical problems.
8. Personal Data
8.1 Personal data collected for locker usage will be processed according to Nazaré’s Privacy Policy, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2 The user has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data, and must contact support through the channels indicated on the Marketplace.

10. Final Provisions
10.1 This regulation may be updated periodically to ensure compliance with new legal provisions or service improvements. Regular consultation of the regulation on the Nazaré website is recommended.
10.2 Nazaré reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the locker service, committing to inform users with due notice.
10.3 For any matter related to locker usage, the Nazaré District court is competent, with express waiver of any other.
